hi all. i have a 70 malibu in need of some tlc. i've been told the motor is'nt a 307 like the fender emblems say. the casting numbers on the engine are 1CA110056 and TI005DE. also i noticed the engine is sitting crooked, it appears to have a broken motor mount. are these hard to replace for the average backyard mechanic with a garage. can yall steer me toward some good repair literature. the inner fender where the battery sits is rotted through. i'll need some guidance in removing the old and installing a new. i plan on doing as much as i can myself. ball joints, bushings. etc. and i also thought about maby putting a nice exhaust system with headers. should i do them when i do the motor mounts. thanks in advance.
