Thank you guys!

While I’m “at it” I’m planning to mount a “remote” oil filter due to it’s present position behind the headers!

Jack up the car & put it on stands.  Remove both motor mount bolts, raise the motor by jacking it up on the balancer with a piece of wood between the jack & the balancer.  Wedge blocks between the mounts on the motor & the ones on the frame to hold the motor up.  That usually gives you enough clearance to get the pan out.  Sometimes you will have to turn the crankshaft to clear some of the counterweights on the crank, so you might want to pull the spark plugs out before you jack everything up.  Hope that helps.

Do I have to Pull my 402BB to change the oil pan?

How much oil does the engine require?

Best regards
