Fellow '69 owners. I'm thinking about fabricating a box that attaches to an
air cleaner and mates up to some gaskets that would be attached to the
mounting hardware of the grills in a '69 SS hood. That way you could be
assured cold outside air intake rather than just engine compartment air.
Would you guys be interested in something like that? It seems like it would
be really easy. It could probably even be set up with a swinging door on a
choke cable so that in winter you could make it take in engine compartment
air rather than outside air until it warms up.
