Thanks. I'll be saving these posts. I'm going to do this on my '70 while the nose is off and thereby learn how to do it on my '69 w/o killing it or myself.
Right now I have a heater hose adapter (I think it's 5/8" to 3/4") on the '69 and I just have the hoses plugged into each other to bypass the core. It would be nice to have heat before next winter.
