Thanks. I don't have a vent line on the sender or a charcoal canister
in the car. It's a SBC car.
The only fuel sending unit I carry for this year & model is 3/8 fuel
line with a 1/4 vent line. Can I use that and just cap off the vent
line?

If I recall, the ECC version has to do with the vent tubing that goes
to the charcoal cannister under the hood. The wires you are talking
about are the standard ones for all tanks and sending units.
