if you "get the fluid sucked out,be shure to change
the filter also.we have a trans-tech transmission flushing machine,it is hooked
up to the cooler lines,the fluid is pumped out enough to drop the pan,replace
the filter,add required amount and type of new fluid to the machine and flush
out the remaining old fluid.we have been performing this type of service for
5yrs and no problems as of yet.it is better to flush and replace the
filter,rather than just flushing and not replacing the filter.if you drop the
pan and change the filter,the remianing old fluid immediately contaminates the
new fluid you have just added.
