Pelle,

Check out Bow Tie OD web page: http://www.700r4.com/ .  They sell trans cooler lines that are pre-bent steel up to the front of the engine than switch to braided steel making the connection to the radiator.  Supposedly it makes hooking up the cooler lines a simple process.

Thanks!

I’ve seen pictures on it, thought it was a custom solution!?

I guess that if I pull the engine I pull the automatic at the same time?

So it won’t be a drawback having the lines attached to the engine?

Pelle
They should go from the transmission , along the oil pan to the radiator.    Along the oil pan there are clips that are held in place by the pan bolts.    In general they are very close to the engine.  Sorry no picture.

How are they supposed to run on a -71?

Right now they run straight up from the aut, up a bit on the firewall,

past the headers and then they are clamped to the heat hoses and

follow them to the front & radiator. Feels wrong?

Pics would be greatly appreciated J

Best regards
Pelle
