When you say dash bezel, do you mean by the gauges, or the sides of the
dash?

John, I have one but I'm not in a position to get to it until WEd. PM. If
it can wait I'll get you a measurement then.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 64-65 dash A/C vent question for the experts
I have a customer who says that the dash A/C vent hole in the repro 1965
dash bezel is too small for his car. The manufacturer says that the hole
is
the correct size, and it's possible that the customer has a 1964 or
retrofit
part. Apparently the1964 cars had a bigger dash A/C outlet. Customer says
that his dad bought the car new and the vent is original and correct for
1965. This issue has never come up before for me.
Apparently the hole on the repro dash is roughly 4 3/4 by 1 7/16 and the
hole on the customer's dash is 5 1/8 by 1 1/2. Can anyone verify the size
of
the dash A/C hole on a 1965 Chevelle A/C dash bezel?
Thanks,
John Nasta
