Hello:you can get a alternator built to any specs,with the load that you had in the rain,actually a 63 amp it should have been okay,take the alternator and get it tested for correct operation,also make shure the belt was tight,if you can put a avr or a similiar tested on the car,to see if the alternator was actually putting out as close as possible to 63 amps would be a good test to see if the alternator is okay internally. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Benjamin To: chevelle-list@chevelles.net Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2006 9:42 AM Subject: [Chevelle-list] Alternator Question I was wondering what size of Alternator I should be using on my 1968 Beaumont (350/350).
