Which? The Victor Jr. or RPM? I have an engine on the stand with a Victor
Jr., my Chevelle has a regular Performer, and I have been told that the
Chevy Hi-rise manifold used on 327/350 and 350/350 cars are very similar.

You get best torque and bottom end with the Performer, then the RPM, then
the Victor Jr., which has much less bottom end power. The bigger engine
will have less of a loss than a smaller engine, but your results will vary
on what you want from the car and how you drive. With a stick shift you
don't notice the loss at the bottom end as much. If you only drive the
streets and never race, you will never see the benefits of the RPM or Victor
Jr.. If you drive on the street aggressively and sometimes go to the track,
then the RPM should be great.
