[Chevelle-list] Hard to start!

She’s very hard to start when she’s been sitting for a while (cpl of hours to a few days). What should I check first?   I have to crank the engine for 5-10 minutes (in intervals of course) & give it a lot of “CRC Motor Starter”. Once it starts it runs very rough & barely at all & I can’t give it any gas, then it will die.
