I have an oil spout and an old spirial coke machine too. I think I still have some oil in cans in the barn. I was born in 1943 so these items were familar to me. I ran a Shell station in the early 60's when I aquired all. Nope none for sale. gm66

I'm not sure "when they were popular". I remember them when I was a kid in Kentucky. I'm guessing that they were popular long before I ever came across it. When I moved from KY to Baltimore, I had quite a culture shock! LOL. None of my MD friends have ever heard of those machines. The name refers to the old metal lidded oil cans that would do the same thing when you squeezed the sides. Does anyone remember the old oil cans that you had to have a spout for?
