Hey Dennis,
I had the same problem with over spray on both painted parts and some
powder coated parts. My painter recommended 3M's Finesse It. It is
a machine polish, but I used it by hand. Worked great! Took the
over spray right off without hurting the finish.

this summer so it was close to perfect. I didn't want to try to clean it
off with something like thinner, because I know half the new paint would
come off with the over spray. I'm thinking there must be something a guy
