My 2 cents. I've changed rear brakes maybe a half dozen times, last was maybe 8 years ago. So for what its worth, wait til you get the brake cable. As I recall, it was a pain to connect the cable to the lever which mounts on the shoe. Thinking about it, you could assemble it all, and then remove it when ready to connect the e-cable. Just so you know what you have and don't forget how it goes back together.

Needless to say I would NOT recommend doing that with a coil spring compressor and a bare frame with no motor, laying on your back. NOT FUN.
