  Just an idea!

I assume you all know that you can remove rust with it & zinc plate it at the
same time?
Use a 10-15% solution to remove the rust quickly, rinse it & move it to a 2%
solution
to get a zinc plating preventing further rust attacks, rinse again!
Use a steel brush to remove the residues & to get a nice surface.
Use a hair dryer & just HOT water to make it dry quick!

You can also use a 2-5% solution, leave the parts over night & use a steel
brush to remove
the residues & to get a nice surface.
Use a hair dryer & just HOT water to make it dry quick!

It might take some experimentation but it's the best way to get rid of rust
without
mechanical aid (sandblasting, roto brush etc.) AND it's rust preventative :-)

Too strong solution will just turn the rust into some carbon like residue
which
is hard to get of the metal.

Be careful (it's acid) but it's far from dangerous if you use common sense.
  I don't want to get sued ;-)

  Best regards
  Pelle
