Fairly common problem for the Ford's. No other way to fix same, Ford recommends removing the head as the proper fix. You can buy the fix kit and do it your self without removing the head with the helicoil much cheaper then the $800, but it may not hold. Some Ford service managers will only replace the head with a new one. I have done the helicoil on them and not had one come back (fingers crossed).
