Have a chance to pickup a late 70's vintage 454. The owner wrecked the vehicle it was in and says that the engine was just rebuilt. Its complete less the carb. A quick inspection under the valve covers indicates that it is extremely clean. The owner wants $2000 for the engine. Do you guys think this is a fair price?
