Hi Jerry,
I have a TKO-600 in my '69 Chevelle.
The 3.31 gears will work great with the 5sp.
The only real 'gotcha' with installing the 5sp is that you'll need to do
some tunnel mods to get it to fit in, a pretty easy crossmember mod, and
shorten the driveshaft. Other than that, It's pretty darn close to a
direct bolt in.
I have lots of pictures and info at the website.
Please feel free to ask questions. I'm happy to help out.
take care,
Mike

It is time to replace the 4 speed in my '70 SS 454 and I am
considering a Tremec TKO 600. Car has the stock 3:31 rear gears.
Anybody have experience they can share would be appreciated. Where is
the best place to find a complete kit for the conversion?
Thanks,
