Hey guys, Just a follow-up on my carb issues with my truck... I got tired of messing with it, and ended up rebuilding the Champion rebuilt carb myself. I found the float level and metering rod adjustment to be off, and the screws securing the float bowl assy to the throttle body assy were fairly loose. In any event, all problems are now gone. No more smoking or sputtering, and my gas mileage is up to 19mpg.
Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.
