Might check http://www.chevellestuff.com/generic/frames.htm - it won't answer all your questions but it shows the distance from various points on a 68-72 frame to the centerline of the frame, just double the measurement. Maximum overall width of the 68 (according to my data) is put at 75.7-inches at its widest point.
Front clip I have no idea. I have been looking online and in my books and havent come across any info so here goes...... I looked at Dales web pages but didnt see what I was looking for. I'm sure its there somewhere but I was just looking in the wrong spot. I am looking for the distance between the body mount holes under the fire wall on a 68 malibu. Also, how wide is the 68 at its widest point? I know the doors are kinda rounded so I have to take that into consideration. How much does just the body (no front clip) weigh roughly? I know someone out there has this info in front of them so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you Ryan _____ avast! Antivirus <http://www.avast.com> : Outbound message clean.
