Is there any way to deactivate the VATS anti theft system on the newer GM steering columns? I have a column out of a 95 Camaro going into a 41 Chevy coupe with a 94 Buick LT-1 engine and trans. I have the anti theft box (VATS) but the key doesn't match the box. With no title to the Buick or Camaro it is almost impossible to get the key with the right resistor. I was told at the dealer it can't be bypassed. There away's someone that can over ride the factory gimmicks. Thanks for any help, Darrell ACES #07611 Team Chevelle #3196 65 SS 327 4 speed
