In case no one else has answered, that is a word 07 extension. So there are
several things you can do. If you have Office 03, there is a converter on
Microsofts web. Otherwise, some on can open it and re-save it for you.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Microsoft Word

Hey List,

I have a bit of a dilemma. I went to school today and typed up an essay. They
have the latest and greatest edition of Microsoft Word there, and I cant open
it at home. Instead of a .doc file, its a .docx file. I was wondering if you
anybody had it, and if they could open it and save it as a .doc file, or maybe
into notepad so I could get it. Thanks for your help! You can just contact me
off list.
