The owner lived in Deer Park, TX and still has a phone number there. He took
the car with him to Canada, but found out it costs too much to get it
registered there. He had an ad on Ebay, but then it was taken down. He said
he took it down due to a buyer wanting it off line, but the buyer couldn't
come up with the cash. I'm not so sure if Ebay didn't take the add down for
other reasons! I have asked him to send me his phone number and he does have
mine to discuss a solution. At present he hasn't called or given me his
number. He has told me he will have Ebay send me an invoice through them, so
I will have some protection. First time I have had this proposed to me. Can
this work???

The car is supposed to be registered in Texas, and has a clear title. I want
the car, I have the cash, but have concerns about sending any money without
someone to represent both parties that I can trust and it would be nice to
have someone inspect it and give me a report that I can trust. I plan on
calling the Canadian Consulate in Dallas to see if they have any ideas or
opinions!

Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated!
