Mike- Regarding your 283, it's worth approximately scrap weight. 350s are dirt cheap these days, and it won't be numbers matching in anybody's car but yours. You may find some rat rodder who likes it because it honestly is a 283, not a 350 dressed up to look like one. I like them myself, I have 2 in my shed but I don't expect to be able to sell them for anything. Built properly they can be wound to the moon just for fun.

It has 35,523 mi on the clock. Is it worth anything? Also, I have a 96 Corvette reverse-flow LT1 long block with about less than 1000 miles on it. It was pulled from a car under warranty for a vibration and they found out the motor was not the problem. Oops! I have a new water pump, A/F car oil pan, and LT4 carburated manifold. No Fuel Injection stuff though. What is that worth? Any thoughts? thanks mike ____________________________________________________________________________ ________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
