This just came across my radar screen...
If you have one of those Fords with the double-sided keys (identical
cuts on both sides), the lock only needs one side of the key to work.
The other side is only there so you can flip the key and still have it
work. You can put your ignition & doors cut on one side and your trunk
& glove cut on the other side and have only one key that does
everything instead of two separate keys. Just cut a notch or something
in one side so you know which side has which cut. Also works for
double-sided motorcycle keys, which is how I found out about it. One
side for the ignition and the other for the gas cap.
