I got one for you. I have a Accel dual point distributor with the
mechanical tack that has been sitting on the shelf in the original boxes for
years. I should sell it because I probably will never use it, but if I do
then I can't say I have it. Pretty dumb huh?

Harlan, you are not alone. I find myself saving the darndest things just
cause they might be useful someday.

I think the boxes only matter if the parts are still inside....Just my
thought. But then again, there is probably somebody out there that wants
boxes. I'd just toss the things.

i bought a stripe kit awhile back from Pontiac for a special edition T/A
1979, i had the kit installed now i have all these little GM boxes that the
individual stripes came in.
i feel like a nut but am having a hard time to throw them out... people
always seem to go goofy over that stuff, "its still in the original GM box"
etc. would anyone know if they are worth anything or should i just look the
other way and toss them-- sorry i feel like a nut but hate to throw them out
then find out they are sought after or something--Ebay??
