Hi Dan, I guess it all depends on what you plan to do with the truck. Will you be running it at the track? Or just want to have it for fun burnouts on the way to cruise nights?
In my Chevelle I have a 10-bolt posi that was an original Chevelle rear, and I have Richmond 3.73 gears in it. It definitely does the trick and didn't run me an insane amount of money.
