I guess we'll have to wait for a name to come to her based on her personality on the road . . .

I think we like to refer to them as female because they are so beautiful (NOT temperamental ). While we are on the subject, I've been trying to come up with a fitting name for our beautiful girl. I want something that brings to mind speed and strength (she may have "big balls", but she is still a girl ). She is also all black. Any suggestions ? What names have you all given your cars ?

The name of my car depends on my mood. Usually it's my baby, or "Chevelle." However, when she's not cooperating with me when I'm working on her, she gets called every vulgar name in the book. hahahaha. Sometimes I just have to verbally let her know who's boss.

But in reality...I don't have a nick name for her....it used to be Genevieve, but thats before I redid everything. I think it deserves a more bad ass name, but I haven't thought of one.

Joe, mine came stock with the antenna on the right rear fender and I wish it

 Hey Guys,
I was with Jim Hinshaw a couple of weeks ago, and asked him why Gm put the antenna up in front that it would look so much better on the rear passenger fender. He told me that some did come that way. So my question to the group
is, does anyone have a 69 original with the rear antenna, and would it be
possible to get a cut out with the exact location before I drill a hole in
my very expensive paint.
 Thanks Joe P.

I'm not gonna repeat some of the names I've called my cars. The Charger is referred to as General Lee, except for last week, it was referred to as some unmentionable names. My 69 Malibu has been referred to as Kermit quite often because of the color.

Dennis any particular reason you would want on the front? Growing up, I
thought that the rear mount vertical antenna on camaros, chevy IIs and
malibus were the toughest thing going. I was not as enthralled with the
swept back antennas on earlier Impalas.

My '71 Malibu is called "the Bear", because it's a bear to drive.

No PS, PB, AC, Auto trans.

But I love shifting the 4-speed.

We have a bright red '65 GTO and call it the "big red sled".

I have '05 Neon daily driver, and we call it the "jelly bean" or
"little blue jelly bean".
and a '61 AMC Rambler wagon named the "big ugly"
And a 2 wheel drive 1996 Dually truck named the " helpless beast". If
you've even owned one, you'd know why.
That thing could get stuck on an astro-turf football field in the middle
of Texas (flat and dry).

And we call my parent's '95 Lumina van the 'big lumbering box"

And I don't have a name for my Chevelle..... have called it a few names
along the way though.
