No matter what it isn't the motor mounts.  I have a '64 2door wagon and the thing came with a 6 and 3 speed on the column with a 10 bolt.  First I put in a 283/power-glide and used the same drive shaft and now I have a BB and a TH350 and a 12 bolt with the same length drive shaft but different yoke for the 12 bolt..... From what I remember the front yoke was the same for all 3 transmissions.  But what really impressed me was the exhaust system.  I took the 283/power-glide from an SS car and when I put it in the wagon the entire exhaust system bolted in like it was made for the car.  Of course I had to use the engine mounts from the V8.   BTW the TH350 with shift kit and 3000 stall converter works fine with the BB...

What engine do you have? Is it original? That is the only way the mounts could be wrong.

Is it possible that the driveshafts are different lengths for a 400 turbo and a 350, and one of them may just be a 400 instead of a 350?  It's just a guess.  I do know that the yoke is different.
