Bill, Tip from your Uncle Rich; make a spare set for every vehicle you own and keep in a protected area, ie. desk drawer, tool box, safety deposit box, etc.
I own 8 vehicles and keys, as you can guess, became an issue a few years back. Made spares and they are hidden but easily accessible.
