I hope someone can give me some advice. I am finishing up on my 1965 El Camino.
Going to drop my fresh 450 HP 383 stroker in it. The engine block is a 1976.
High performance World Product heads. What spark plugs would be the best. I
hear that AC Delco are but with headers they are saying two plugs are going to
badly burned. And using shorty plugs on these two isn't that good because of
the performance of shorty's. Any suggestions.
                                        Thanks, DonFrom:

I glad thats not my collection (yea right!). I don't think that I could
afford his monthly wax bill. I wonder if there are any more pictures on
the web.

[Chevelle-list] Nice Collection of Convertibles

What do you suppose this collection is worth? This collection belongs to
Dennis Albaugh in Ankeny, Iowa, just north of Des Moines.

The personal and private collection consists of 110 + Chevrolet convertibles

all years from 1912 to 1975 and Corvette convertibles from 1953 to 1975.
That is a Chevy convertible from every year of manufacture EXCEPT 1939.. !
- the reason? -

Chevy didn't make a convertible in '39 -- and ended its convertible line in
'75 !

His 'boy toys' include his own 18 hole golf course, copied somewhat after
Augusta National.

He is what you call a REAL Chevy guy, but his passion seems to be
convertibles !

[Chevelle-list] BB RebuildHi All - Just made the final arrangements for the
rebuild of my BB for the 65 SS. I have settled on an balanced 489 cu in Eagle
rotating assembly with steel crank, H-beams rods, and Mahle pistons. The C.R.
will be about 9.7 to 1 with the 110 cc Edelbrock RPM heads. The cam will be a
Comp Cams 292 Duration Part# 11-450-8 hyd roller. The block will be .060 over
for 496 cu in. I will keep the Richmond 5 sp since I can still push in the
clutch. The cost will be close to $4000. The previous displacement was 427
because of the 396 crank. The badge on the front fender said 427 below the SS.
That will come off, and the badge will be the original 327 SS. Should be a
great grocery getter!Larry Williams --Forwarded Message Attachment--From:

I would think. You should be able to get the ice cream hope before it starts to
melt!!
