  Good to hear that you are doing it right by taking it off the frame. Thats 
what i did to my convertable. even if you leave the doors on it, it needs to be 
braced as much as you can to keep it from warping. Good luck and if you need

without bracing.

  Just thowing this out there, I have a 68 convertible cutlass and entertaining 
the thought of a fram off at some point. the mid/rear part of the drivers side 
frame needs some attention and has  surface rust throughout?  do I take the 
doors off and brace it ? or just gentily raise it and hope for the best. 
greatful for any suggestions. Jimmy. C
