Yes, they are good... I ran one several years ago and never had a problem.
While the cap is off, I would suggest taking a good look at the advance weights, pins and springs to make sure they are not worn. I've seen many HEI advance pins with huge grooves in them -- but still working. A custom advance kit will add some performance too and is easy to install. Kind regards, --Don : G r a n i t e .
