They did Larry. See 1964 was like "woah, this car really needs improvement!" 
then in 1965 it was "this car is pretty good, but its not perfect." Then in 
1966 it was "this is pure perfection." After that it just all went downhill.

        Hello, just a heads up, picked up the latest chevelle magazine 
yesterday, just wish it was published more than twice a year, really liked gary 
gerstners 67 L88, it is a lot like mine, some differences but it was real cool 
to see a car like mine, the editor is trying to get a bead on our favorite 
chevelle to read about and hands on stuff since the magazine is only published 
twice a year, for me mr. licata the sixty seven is my pick, but please try to 
cover them all, iam sure you will be hearing from some of the guys on the list, 
you really should try selling more magazines, you might be suprised, take care, 
ronnie
