Thank you Dennis. I really appreciate that information.

Hi Larry,
My '65 also came back recently from getting all new front end stuff
and it also wanders. It feels like I'm driving down the center of a
high-crowned road and whenever you turn a little, it wants to turn
even more and it does not return to center.
I suspect the alignment folks dialed in too much negative caster, the
spec for a '65 SS is 0 to -.5 degree. For other '65 Chevelles it is
-.5 to -1.5 degrees. More caster makes them track straight.
Thanks,
Dennis

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Alignment Question
Just got the car back with new bushings, ball joints, and steering
coupler (rag joint). The mechanic said it aligned almost perfect. I
believe the car went rock crawling in a previous life so I know it's
not perfect. Before the work, though, it drove perfect. Now it
wanders. Can this be corrected?
