I haven't really heard good or bad info but you might take a look at those
made by DMH - http://www.dmhperformance.com/. These have slotted flanges
that allow the installation to be rotated a bit for installation clearance.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Quick time Electric Cutouts

Does or has anyone used the Quick Time Electric cutouts instead of the caps
on on your exhaust systems?

I'm thinking about a set but that's a lot of bucks if they don't last.

Their 90 day warranty isn't too confidence inspiring either.

I guess I want to know how well they fit. fit is good

Do they leak at the butterflies. yes but just a bit

Have you run into clearance problems ( will be going on a 71 SS 454 stock
ride height with long tube headers and x pipe. you may need to move the
floor depending on where they are located

If you had issues with the company.

How long did they last or are they still working. first set about 1 week the
screws that hold the solinoid to the butterfly backed out and ripped out the
wiring summit replaced them i took the new ones apart before i installed
them and put locktight on all there screws

Do any of you use the controller that can be purchased additionally. came
with it

I know 3 wing nuts and the caps come off but I was just looking at this as
an option.

Thanks,
