Thanks for the invitation to the Aztec Banquet & Mexican Independence Day
Parade.
Sorry, but I cannot attend the banquet. The $125.00 price per ticket is way W
A Y out of line for me.
Also, I cannot organize participation for the Mexican Independence Day parade
in La Villita for the pro-immigrant community affected by the deportation raids
by ICE because your asking price of $640.00 to march in the parade is way too
high for me to raise funds.
Father Landaverde is trying to get baby pampers, baby formula, pay back rent,
collect used clothing, get broadcast media attention, raise bond money and much
more for those families affected by the Homeland Security and ICE arrests in
and around Chicago and Cook County.
As a matter of fact, a FREE alternative march is being talked about scheduled
to take place on the same day and time as your parade, on 25th St.
