The term for these citizens of other countries is "Miss Documented"
because they doe have some type of documents, what they lack is USA
documents.

poll!

Our poll "Undocumented or Illegal?" generated a lopsided response. The
poll asked how Chicago Public Radio should refer to U.S. residents who
lack proper papers to be in the country. Almost 90 percent of the
2,004 votes showed a preference for "illegal alien" instead of either
"illegal immigrant" or "undocumented immigrant."
The question now is why. We explore that question in a new blog
section, Immigration Poll Ends in Knockout (http://apps.wbez.org/blog/?
p=516#more-516). The section starts with views from the Illinois
Minuteman Project's Rosanna Pulido and the Center for New Community's
Eric Ward.
I think you'll want to see what they say. And, as always, we welcome
your comments. Thanks. Chip Mitchells, Chicago Public Radio.

The question is not why... it did happen because while some friends
and activists were discussing whether the term it should be
"unwanted", or "without visas" and so on, the minuteman were
voting....
