This morning Sunday the 28th around 6:00 am around 40 immigration and
customs enforcement agents dressing in civilian clothes and without a search
warrant[ICE] is conducting an immigration raid, breaking down doors and
taking into custody women and children, some pregnant women are living in
this camp, in one house they broke the door down and took the husband of one
of the pregnant woman two of the chirden who were sleeping, and two other
ralatives in another house they took a women and her four children, the
women were taking to oswego county jail and the men were taking to batavia
detention center where they still been held, they took into custody 10
immigrants including 4 children from ages between 4 and 12 years of age,
these are mainly farm workers whose only crime is to work very hard from sun
to sun. the Rochester alliance for immigrant rights is asking the press to
come to the scene as this situation is leading to humanitarian crisis,
because the families that are not taking into custody are taking shelter
away from their homes with their school age children children. the families
that were left behind are completly terrified you can see the expreesion of
fear in their face and feel it in every word that they spoke.
