MAYAN CALENDAR NEWS: COMMENTARY ON THE ELECTIONS.... OK MAYAN READERS: This election season has become one of the most intense and polarized election campaigns ever. The rhetoric has intensified, is ugly, and the law of "gutter politics" has taken over. The rabid racist right wing talking heads are using every allegory/metaphor possible to calumniate the candidacy of Barack Obama. Meanwhile, the liberal talking heads mock and demean the McPalin ticket at every opportunity. This election has truly gone...."to the dogs"....no offense to the canine species. Frankly I am outraged by the two party monopoly on the presidential election process...i.e., the national debates, media coverage, etc......the only options being presented by the MOEDI (MAJOR OIL DEFENSE INDUSTRY) MEDIA are an extreme right wing republican versus an center right republican posing as a democrat!!! That's right...you can vote for your flavor of republican in the national presidential election. As for me...I am sick and disgusted with the two party monopoly on the national election process. I am also dismayed by those "PROGRESSIVES/LIBERALS"....who also see the corruption and hypocrisy of this system and the mediocre candidates that it produces, yet insist that they will vote 'DEMOCRATIC" because that is the only real option available. NON-SENSE!!! ABSOLUTE PURE TORO FECES!!! We must have the courage of our convictions to fight the corruption and monopoly of the two party demo-republican system. Look what it has resulted in....a choice between Cheney's cousin......or John wayne mcpalin....give me a break!!!

The Green Party has the best candidates....locally and nationally....has the best positions on the issues......and is th best choice for those who really want to bring an end to the corruption of the two party system.
