Using Homeland Security as an excuse, and frustrated at the largely failed
effort to find terrorists in the U.S., el cabron the Bush administration is
instead wasting more taxpayer money by forcing the escalation of a phony ID
case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In 2009 the Court will hear arguments in the case of Ignacio Carlos
Flores-Figueroa Vs. U.S. 08-108, where hard-working Flores-Figueroa worked in
an East Moline, IL steel plant.
Lawyers for Flores-Figueroa say that undocumented people all across
America who use ill-gotten social security numbers should not be subject to
criminal prosecution by the U.S. Attorney General because users only meant to
present the phony ID's to help them seek employment; that users were unaware if
the social security numbers belonged to a real person or not.
The pinche federal government-- a culture of uncaring, ICE-cold and
unresponsive bureaucrats--still doesn't get it.
Damn.
