QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, AND MORE QUESTIONS....
OK MAYAN READERS,
Some very interesting facts that have been reported in the major media about
the alleged fderal investigation of Luis Gutierrez.
First: the $200,000 loan made to him by a private developer (at 7% interest)
2nd: A bank loan issues to Luis Gutierrez at 3% interest, to pay off the
$200,000 loan from the developer.
QUESTIONS???
Which bank gave Gutierrez the loan to pay off the $200,000 loan from the
developer???
How did Gutierrez qualify for such a special loan at such special interest
rates? I mean, the average loan of that amount would be anywhere between 5 - 8
% interest. Why did gutierrez get such a low rate of interest?
What favors (if any) has Gutierrez done for this bank since the special loan
was made??
Now Gutierrez is a ranking member of the House Banking Committee - does this
special loan made to him violate any federal ethics laws, House ethics rules,
banking regulations, etc???
Who are the Board members of this unknown bank that approved this special loan
to Gutierrez? Do they have any conflict of interest issues related to this loan
(i,e. do they have special relationships with Gutiereez?).
IS THE BANK STILL IN BUSINESS???
Did Gutierrez repay the loan? And how? - installments, lump sums, etc
Are there any records related to his schedule of payments in the public
record???
Lastly.....
HAS THIS BANK BENEFITTED FROM THE "ECONOMIC BAIL-OUT"?
Is this why Gutierrez was so eager to vote for the original and second versions
of the "ECONOMIC BAIL-OUT"?
Now doesn't all of this just seem to be "irregular"?
Now, I am sure the alleged federal investigation will cover all of these
questions - but don't you think the Chicago media should be asking these
questions - and that Gutierrez should be volunteering this information
beforehand???
Oh well, I just thought I'd ask.
