I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition I recently signed:
JCUA's Progress By Pesach petition is calling for an immediate end to
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.
Progress by Pesach is a national Jewish campaign that encourages the new
Administration and Congress to choose just and humane immigration reform over
failed policy raids and enforcement tactics as a means of controlling
immigration.
Raids separate families, violate U.S. due process laws, hurt the economy, waste
taxpayer money, misuse local police, and threaten the basic human rights of
U.S. citizens and non-citizens alike. The aftermath of a raid continues well
after the operation is over, and towns are left to deal with the resulting
humanitarian and economic crisis.
