Hace una semana y media se inicio la colecta de firmas atraves de la peticion legal la cual esta adjunta para imprimirse en tamano legal y unirse a colectar firmas para esta prioritaria causa. Actualmente sean distribuido mas de 500 formatos y fisicamente contamos con 1500 firmas (este sabado 10 personas colectamos 19 hojas de firmas en la calle 26, nuetra gente esta de acuerdo, las necesita estas ids). La meta es de colectar 3000 firmas pero entre mas tengamos mas fuerte sera la propuesta al entregarse al concilio municipal de Chicago. Senores, les pedimos que se unan a esta causa ya que es importante y necesario para nuestra comunidad, especialmente los mas vunerable que no tiene como identificarse ante las autoridades. Esperamos que los concejales latinos que actualmente nos representan, trabajan para nosotros en el concilio municipal de Chicago apoye esta propuesta, hay 50 consejales y necesitamos 26 que voten afavor una ves puesta a votacion en el concilio de la ciudad. El secretario Miguel Del Valle se a pronunciado positivo de la propuesta y esperamos que la pueda presentar ante los miembros del concilio y del alcade Richard M. Daley. Se pudo en San Francisco, en New Haven, Connecticut y recientemente en Oakland City, California, por supuesto que se puede en Chicago la cual los oficiales electos locales incluyendo el alcalde Daley han publicamente pronunciado a esta ciudad de Chicago como un Santuario para los imigrantes.
