libtool's sys_lib_search_path_spec doesn't contain paths to libm.so, libpcre.so, libdl.so. As a result, libtool (without my intervention) is able to build static libs only. It seems some autoconf magic is required here.
Also I wonder what's the point is in building csi-static and chicken-static when configured as --disable-static --enable-shared?
Anyway these executables are dynamic and they refer to build directory rather than install prefix.
Also they require some (considerable on Zaurus) time to build without any payback.
