That was my understanding. The vast majority of people are going to install Windows native and MinGW Chickens to C:\Program Files\Chicken, and Cygwin Chickens to /usr/local/, so I don't see this as a substantive issue in practice. Managing DLL Hell by putting dlls in their own separate directories is the Windows way.
