If someone else runs Solaris and has CMake installed, perhaps they
could let me know if they're going to try this? Otherwise I'll do it
when I have time.



Not important anymore because the bug is closed.  I believe that changing
the dependencies for dynamic linkage during the bootstrap solved the
problem.
