Ivan, I did some work on a wiki->texinfo converter (continuing Alejandro's earlier work), but never finished it. (Bad, bad volunteer.) The code is in the repository (the stream-wiki egg, I think). Though you could start from scratch, you could also continue the stalled work. Things may have changed since last year, but at that point it could build a workable texi version.
