If that is the case, it seems to be working fine now (http://tests.call-cc.org/master/linux/x86/2012/05/17/salmonella-report/test/contracts.html). Maybe it hit a compiler bug at that time? Reports at http://tests.call-cc.org/master/ are for the chicken-core master branch from git, so that kind of situation is possible. Best wishes.
