I still have some script that were compiled against the leptonica egg from
Chicken 4 ( https://wiki.call-cc.org/eggref/4/leptonica ). I don't think
this egg was ever ported to Chicken 5 or 6 tho'.
Do you know if your egg is compatible with or similar to the older one or
not?

I'm pleased to announce 'leptonic', a new egg for Chicken-6.
Leptonic provides a Chicken Scheme interface to the excellent
image-processing library "leptonica" by Dan Bloomberg. The egg
binds a subset of the extensive *leptonica* C-api, focusing on
high-level *leptonica* functions likely to be useful to Scheme
programmers.
